Which candy is more disgusting, circus peanuts or candy corn?

Circus Peanuts are like edible packing peanuts. Definitely the grosser choice, I would say this even if I didn’t like candy corn, but since I DO like candy corn it’s no contest at all.

I actually like candy corn, but only like one handful a year. But circus peanuts aren’t even food. That’s a packing material that somebody ate once on  a dare.

I’m not a huge candy corn fan - I don’t hate it, but don’t particularly like it, either.  But whoever invented circus peanuts should be tried for crimes against humanity.

I dont think I have ever heard of circus peanuts. Candy corn isnt half bad, but im not really a fan of any non-chocolate candy. So pretty much everything is either chocolate or it’ s crap to me.

Yes, there are biodegradable packing puffs.  They taste like corn puffs without flavoring, which they essentially are.  They melt to a mush in water.

That is a defensible position.  Circus peanuts have become less common in recent years, but they’re still around, waiting to poison unsuspecting youngsters.

Candy corn is multi-faceted in that it’s used to make decorations in classrooms and moms doing their craft things.  Circus peanuts have no claim to that fame.

But how do they stack up vs. corn starch packing peanuts? Having eaten both, I give a slight edge to packing peanuts for being salty with an interesting mouth feel.

I actually like candy corn, and the closely related candy pumpkins, but only in small doses, too much and I get sick of it. I’m ambivalent toward circus peanuts, couldn’t tell you when I last had one, and I don’t think I cared for it.

I can agree with that. I had a girlfriend once who I called pumpkin because she loved candy pumpkins.... also she was round and orange. Okay I lied about the orange part

I recall as a child getting plastic easter eggs with bible quotes in them. Or with a few pennies. Those were definitely the worst item to receive on Halloween haha. I never did remember which houses gave out junk like that so it would repeat every year pretty reliably.

Packing Peanuts...I mean...Circus Peanuts, hands down. Not only is Candy Corn superior, it also comes in variety.

But...I’ll take some Mellowcreme Pumpkins over either one any day. Quite similar to candy corn, but I prefer the texture of the pumpkins.

I am clearly in the minority here. Candy corn is actually the earwax deposits harvested from the ear canals of Satan himself. Circus peanuts are delightful, at least until half of the bag is eaten and the cloying sweetness has triggered diabetes.
